Barely few days into the last week’s catastrope which crippled the life in the metropolis, it was hit yet again by two days of heavy rains which almost paralysed the city. There were watterlogging again especially in the low-lying areas. This time around, the adminstration was quick in reacting by sending out alerts asking the locals not to venture out unless it is important. The Indian Navy also came to the resuce by providing the inflated boats to the administration so that they could supply the relief material to the people in need.

This time around, I decided to stay in. With no one at home, I had to take care of myself all alone right from cooking (though I dont know how to cook) to washing clothes. As I type, the water inside my estate is receding slowly and I hope that it receds soon ‘cos I don’t wat to wade through the water tomorrow morning while on my way to office
